There was no auto-population of the serial number in the installation manager and I didn't receive an email with a serial number either. *EDIT* It just finished installing and it doesn't appear that I have Solidworks, just the free (non-licensed) products: eDrawings, Solidworks Composer Player, Solidworks PCB Viewer, and Solidworks Manage. So, I'm not sure if I needed any of the other options. Is this correct? Should I have selected the other products to download? I'm an Engineer by profession but I only use 2D AutoCAD but I've been wanting to tinker (personally) with Solidworks but I have zero background. My download size was ~2GB and the estimated disk usage was ~5GB.
I left the serial number blank and it proceeded to downloading the actual installation files. After downloading the installer is where confusion begins.
